Yes, it got it clean, but more than 2 weeks later we removed the rug from the room because the scent was still so strong that it was giving us headaches. We aren’t particularly fragrance sensitive and have never had to do something like this before. We’ve got the rug sitting outside right now and hope that it finally airs out enough to make it useable again.
